YOU ARE HERE: Home Omaha Boot Camps FAQ

Q.  What type of person attends a Catalyst Fitness Boot Camp?

A.  Those people that are looking for a challenge in their workout attend Catalyst Fitness Boot Camps.  All fitness levels are welcome.  Must be willing to walk quickly and/or run as well as use your body weight for resistance while targeting the major muscle groups of the body.

Q.  What can I expect to take place during a typical day at boot camp?

A.  Boot camps will last for about 1 hour each time we meet.  Expect to run, sweat and be challenged in your workouts.  Each workout will consist of circuit and interval training.  Exercises can be modified to be made less difficult or more challenging depending on your physical fitness level.  Expect some light running, weight training, obstacle courses, core training and use of the TRX System.  Proper form and technique is important and will be monitored and implemented.

Q.  Will I be sore at times?

A.  Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days.  After that point, it is slight to moderate.  It is a part of the process to help you improve.

Q.  What do I need to bring to camp?

A.  Bring one set of 5 lb, 8 lb or 10 lb dumbbells/hand weights and any type of exercise mat.  You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp.

Q.  What if I have to miss one or more days of camp?

A.  If you know in advance that you will have to miss one or more days of camp, say for a planned vacation or business trip, please, notify Catalyst Fitness.  As long as you give notice prior to the start of camp, we will arrange for you to attend an equivalent number of “make-up” sessions in an alternate camp.  Catalyst Fitness will work with you on this.  Our goal is to ensure that you get a great value for your money.  Please, note, unexcused absences are NOT eligible for make-up sessions.

Q.  Is there a refund policy?

A.  Yes.  If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify Catalyst Fitness prior to your session start date.  However, a $20 cancellation fee will be charged.  If Catalyst Fitness is notified after your session begins, you will be given a credit toward another boot camp.  This credit is nontransferable.  Credit can also be used toward Personal Training.  There is no cash refund.  This is not negotiable.

Q.  How soon will I see results?

A.  Performance improvements can take place in as little as three days.  “Visual Improvement” can take two to four weeks depending on your effort level.  Remember that everyone is different!
